Brick Lane. 2024
( Peace & Pieces )
30.48cm x 30.48cm
Acrylic on wood panel
Brick Lane is at the heart of London’s East End, a melting pot of curious creations and cultural phenomena, a microcosm of fresh and unique styles, smells and sounds.
- Inspired by my recent excursion to Brick Lane in London, United Kingdom. This distinctive piece is an integral part of my 'Peace & Pieces' series—an assemblage of small abstract works. Within this collection, each artwork is a fusion of harmonious colors and abstract shapes, occasionally evoking the essence of botanical elements or architectural fragments. The composition of these pieces seeks to convey a sense of tranquil unity amid the diversity of form and color, encapsulating the essence of my artistic exploration in this particular series.
"In my artistic practice, I frequently bestow titles upon my creations inspired by the locales I have traversed or the melodies that have recently resonated with me. While these titles may not necessarily correlate directly with the visual elements of the artwork, they serve as poignant reminders of the moments in which I brought each piece to life. While I hold personal interpretations of my work, I deliberately invite viewers to explore their own subjective meanings within the art, encouraging a contemplative engagement that elicits a unique emotional response “
